Riksarkivet/The Swedish National Archives sends files in the following formats: PDF, JPG and TIF. You need to have the correct software installed on your device to open the files.

You can pay online by credit or debit card using your matter reference number found on our correspondence. You will be able to pay with VISA or Mastercard. Your payment is secured by PayEx. The card number is sent through a strongly encrypted connection directly to the bank. Riksarkivet does not have access to any information about the card or your bank account. If your payment has not been accepted. Please check your card no, valid thru and cvc code carefully! If any of them are wrong the transaction will be cancelled. Have your card ready. If it takes too long to enter the card information the transaction will be cancelled. Make sure that you have registered a password or similar functionality for 3D Secure with your bank. (Verified by VISA or Mastercard SecureCode). Your bank may have trouble with handling 3D Secure for the moment. Then we are sorry that you will not be able to pay online during this time.
